Lasted me ages (Still working like new!)
I've now had this laptop for over a year, I use it daily, mainly for storage, downloading movies, and gaming, etc. Although it's not the best for gaming, it still runs everything I enjoy perfectly. Can't fault the battery life as it's never let me down. It still works at its original speed (fast!) and has NEVER failed me when I've needed it. So to summarise, if you're looking for a laptop to be regulary used for watching movies and doing work and storage, look no further.
One slight hiccup- on the description it says the screen is 39 inches-it isn't!

Review 1 : A very attractive package
Thanks to its AMD processor (cheaper than the equivalent Intel chip), this variant of the HP G62 with its 4GB of RAM and 500GB hard drive offers a very attractive package.
A brand new computer always seems fast. It is usually more highly specified that its predecessor and doesn't have an accumulation of old files slowing file writing and recovery. Even taking that into account, this one is impressive. No calculation I have tried on it has taken any appreciable time, and most processes are also impressively fast. Its almost instantaneous recovery from 'sleep' offers particularly large time savings through there being no reason whatever to wander off and do something else whilst waiting for it.
The 64 bit Windows 7 Operating System provides its own assessment of what it calls the Windows Experience and awards this machine an index of 4.2. That is the lowest scoring of five measures and is for graphics; the highest is 6.2 for processor speed; speed of RAM operations...

This is a good laptop with high spec, I have the one with 4 Gb Ram and 500 Gb Hard Drive and it's amazing. No problems with it and the software is great. Would highly recommend this laptop to every walk of life.
