So far so good
I've only had the laptop for a month, so can't say about its longevity.
Good crisp screen, like it a lot. It's better than my old dell had. Few issues I'm having are the touchpad is overly sensitive and does its own thing when I'm typing so have now started to disable it (Fn + F6) and that helps a lot. Bizarrely, when I actually want to use the touchpad it's very hard to do! It doesn't like my fingers it seems - very frustrating - so now have a mouse attached.
Other than that, it's doing its job.

Review 2 : Excellent laptop for the money
I bought this laptop as an impulse purchase to replace my ageing Dell.
Due to the budget price I assumed I was buying a budget laptop but I am very impressed by how fast it is.
Positive points:
The screen quality is excellent.
The keyboard is lovely with nice feedback and not too loud when typing.
Copes well with day to day tasks and work
Huge hard drive 1tb
Lots of RAM - 6gb
SD card reader built in.
Outstanding battery life - I have managed to see over 5 hours of regular use - this is more than stated in the specs!
Negatives:
Touchpad is overly sensitive, I changed the sensitivity settings to accommodate this which have helped some but I have reverted to a wireless mouse.
The blue finish whilst looks lovely is very prone to scratches as is the black bezel around the screen. All I have done is wipe dust off with a microfibre cloth and fine scratches have appeared. I can imagine that after a few...
