Review 1 : A flawed product
When I got this laptop, I absolutely loved it. After all, it looks pretty good, the matte screen is neat, the keyboard is just better than anything you're likely to find anywhere, period. However, the fun stopped pretty quickly. First of all, when I started actually using some software on it (e.g., Google Chrome), the laptop would just freeze for a few seconds at a time, making browsing impossible. I find this totally bizarre, because I've got an SSD in there, and 2Gb should be enough for some lightweight tasks.
Right now, all I can do is use it as some glorified typewriter, because any serious app just brings the laptop to a grinding halt. The other problem is the battery - I got my laptop with a 3-cell which 'claimed' to work for several hours. However, when I started using it, the laptop would last about 45 minutes. Now, several months later, it only lasts for 10 mins. That's right - the battery's as good as dead!
