Product Description
DisappointedFor many years I used to be a fan of Microsoft. Not anymore, Windows 8 is disappointing as you have to spend a lot of time to guess how to do things you were using day in day out on previous Windows versions.
The laptop itself is surprisingly heavy. I would suggest Amazon to add the weight to the description of laptops and other products that are supposed to be carried frequently.

The keyboard lights up in the darkThe sound quality is missing bass but the sound is very, very clear. This laptop can drive a 3D TV even though it doesn't have a 3D screen. I've already got a 3D laptop that I seldom play 3D games on, and I've never seen anyone play 3D games with glasses while traveling on a train so I don't think that's a major loss.
I've had problems with the speed of wireless connection with another Toshiba laptop. Not so with this one. It connects and stays connected to my BT hub at 115Mbs. I did Microsoft updates and virtual hard drive transfers without bothering to connect via a cable.
I read one review that didn't like the keyboard because of the big letters. Well the keys can light up which is great if you don't want to switch on the light, or are working in an area with limited light.
One catch to remember is that HyperV is a feature that will appear missing if you haven't registered your version of Windows. With that done, your free to add virtual...
