Review 1 : Excellent Ultraportable Notebook
This is an excellent notebook. I needed something like a powerhouse with the portability of a light ultrabook. It is not the thinnest but it is the most expandable ultrabook I've found. PCMCIA slot, 2 USB 3.0. 3rd generation laptop. Quite amazing the speed and quietness this laptop has. If you add an SSD (beware, a 7mm like a Samsung 830) and additional 4GB or ram (it has two slots, one free) this laptop is as fast as light!
Don't forget that this is a laptop that passes the US military specifications tests, so it is going to stand hard times into bags and travels. As a travel photographer this laptop gives me the power for complex processing, the retina-like quality screen (IPS) that is needed for a photographer with the portability of a very light ultrabook.
Couldn't be happier.
The price reflects its quality.
Lenovo should soon release the full set of W8 drivers and software so it shouldn't be a problem to use this laptop for the years to come.
