Review 1 : All I need
Needed a laptop for home working as well as personal stuff that I didn’t want to have on my work laptop any more. This more than does the job, nice big screen, full keyboard, enough storage. I don’t do a lot of surfing or social networking, so didn’t want one of the whizzer models with Windows 8 – just a workhorse that is good looking and speedy. Small downside is that the separate numeric keypad isn’t as separate as I would like – if you switch it on it cuts off other functions located on the number keys. Although I haven’t used the machine a lot and am still wrestling with Windows 7, I think it is very smart and good value for money. Brother who works in IT confirmed ASUS is a good make and it is nicely designed.
Review 2 : Top value laptop
Quite delighted with this purchase. The screen is clear, the keyboard springy, the mouse pad has pinch-to-zoom, it has a USB3 socket, a built-in webcam, WiFi, does Skype just fine. Really nothing to say bad about it. Very nice indeed.
