Quality.......I think NOT!!
On advice from an IT friend, I purchasd this Acer Aspire because of its supposed value for money, software and ease of use.
Very pleased I was when it arrived and I found how simple it was to set up and use straight from the box BUT within a 5 weeks from purchase the build quality became a definite issue. I rarely use the keyboard, prefering to use a wireless mouse to navigate through the internet etc however, when I did attempt to write a letter for the very first time, I became aware that some of the keyboard keys didn't feel positive, almost loose. After about 5 mnutes of typing, the CAPS LOCK key became detached and flew off. Although the computer has now been repaired under warranty by Acer, I would advise anyone wishing to purchase a laptop to seriously consider a different manufacturer.........These are put together in China and appear to be of very poor build quality. I am expecting other keys to fall off before I get much use from this laptop. Avoid at all costs!!

This Specific Acer Aspire 5732Z 15.6 inch HD Laptop (Intel Pentium T4400, 3GB RAM, 250GB HDD, DVD, Webcam, Wireless, Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit) perrforms excelent. simple to operator as well as alter. the price for this was much lower compared to other areas, My spouse and I other places explored, instead of a lot more than equivalent item.

Review 1 : acer latop
This laptop is ok..its quite fast like most acers easy to use etc etc BUT.....the 2 usb ports are on the left so if you are right handed & want to plug a mouse in its a bit of pain....The WORST thing is that although it has a built in webcam it doesn't have a built in mic...whats up with that acer?
Review 2 : Good laptop with minor drawbacks
Nice machine with reasonable battery life. I use mainly for word processing and music. I also use with my digital camera and Skype and of course internet. Drawbacks, only two usb ports, no caps lock light, and no internal mic, silly because excellent built in webcam. Recent purchase of new TV makes me wish I had a HDMI port, so take this into consideration prior to purchase.
