Perfect for use as a general use laptop. It's only fault is the graphics card - but that's only a problem if you need 3D graphics for gaming or whatever. It's super quick and I haven't had any problems. It's worth upgrading the memory to at least 1GB though

Review 1 : MACTASTIC!!!
What can I say? I moved to my macbook black after being a Windows user for 10 years. I had no prior knowledge of how to work a macbook, let alone getting used to a brand-new operating system. I was and after five months, still am amazed at how fantastic my macbook is. I use it for basic home use and it's true what they say, no matter how much you try, you can't make a mac crash!!
The operating system itself (Tiger) is great and VERY powerful. It's a little deceiving at first because after 10 years of hearing a Windows hard disk churn away and eventually do nothing, a mac has done what you want it to before you press a button!! After 5 months I'm still finding new features and still saying 'wow!'
I could go on... but simply, a mac won't let you down. I just wish I'd always had one.
Review 2 : Well, almost a black MB
First, this macbook is actualy a white macbook which has been converted to a black one by buying a black keyboard, dissasembling the laptop and spraying the rest. The hardware is the same though. This macbook is 6 years old now, the HD has been upgraded to 500GB and ram to 4GB, unlike a PC, after those 6 years of being dropped and scraped and being treated meanly, it is still running as lightning fast as it was when it was new, bootup in around 30 seconds. Graphics performance isn't exactly the best, although it is very decent for its time, can play HD movies without any FPS lag at all, quicktime tells me i get an actualy FPS rate of around 28 - 35
