Review 1 : Very good laptop that has 2 partitions!
I decided for an Asus laptop as they are the only company that gives their customers 2 partitions: one for Windows and the second for personal data. This is very important to me.
What I haven't figured out until now is how to get a restore DVD. Windows 8 comes with a restore feature, but the user guide reads that certain models have an App for creating recovery discs. It seems that this model hasn't it. Let's hope the boot partition always works.
Asus pre-installed only the common programs MS Office and an anti-virus software, and I had not much work to set up the system.
The laptop is quiet, the keys on the keyboard are smaller than on my previous laptops, but okay for that what I do with a laptop at home.
The DVD drive reads double-layer disc, it has got a SD card reader, the sound is very good and everything works very well.
Windows 8 doesn't feel annoying on this Asus laptop, but maybe it is because I like this laptop.
