Review 1 : Could be so much better
When I needed a new laptop to replace my 3 year old Sony Viao which suddenly died, I thoroughly researched different brands and differnet retailers to find the best bang for my buck. I was confident that I had made the right decision with this Lenovo model. Having used it, am I pleased with my decision? Sadly not. Want to know why? read on.

I have to say that performance wise, this laptop is an improvement on my previous Sony Viao. In almost every other aspect, it is worse and I'm afraid I regret buying it. This product could, and should be so much better - this is why:

The screen: a good size, good colour reproduction, and even brightness. The massive downside is the shiny screen. Ok, so my previous Sony was guilty of this too; but to a lesser extent. This screen is so shiny that when watching movies with a dark background you spend as much time looking at your own reflection as you do watching what is on screen.
