Lets be honest, you buy a Sony Vaio because you want something that looks really classy.
The 5250 is a very sweet looking laptop, ok so you can get equal or better spec laptops for a cheaper price, but not everything is specs.
This laptop simply looks amazing, it is a dream to use, has 4 USB slots, built in wifi, stunning 15.4" LCD screen.
The DVD is +- compatible and also DL/RAM which is very cool if you know what al that means.
Hard Drive is 200gb, but really 180gb when you take into account the recovery partition. But that should be plenty of space for anyone anyway.
It comes with Vista Home, ok I know a lot of people moan about Vista, but it is ok, no, it i not as good as XP in the eyes of most, but it is still very good and stable.
Overall this is a top laptop if you want power and style.
