Review 1 : excellent upgrade on old macbook
super cool upgrade to my old black macbook. migration assistant made loading software easy.

initially wanted a 27inch imac, but realised couldnt live without portability. so got macbook pro and dell screen. best of both worlds.

battery life is not quite up to advertised 7hrs, found a few posts on updating PRAM settings which ill try.

flash storage is WAY quicker than harddisk,

definitely happy to have bought MBP retina and a cheap amazon dvd drive than the macbook pro with dvd... its a big weight saving for a laptop.

I just received my machine today, very well packed. This macbook is much lighter than my 2010 MacBook, much faster with excellent battery life. The screen is amazing and the fast boot time is impressive. Recommended
