Acer Aspire 5732zMy husband bought me this laptop for christmas. I absolutely love it. It's fast, the screen is clear. For a typist like me, the keyboard is great. It has a number pad too, which is unusual. No problems and I'm running Windows 7 which is great.

new laptopi bought this laptop due to me having a accident with a cup of tea
over the key board of my last laptop,
i have to say i am very impressed, i actually ordered the 5532 windows 7
laptop but recieved the 5732z model which is a better model by having a
intel pentium prosseser t4300,not t3400 that is stated on the specifications,
instead of a amd prossecer ,(so slow) so it is a marginally superior processer,
i have only had this for a few days but i am exstremly pleased with the purchase
and windows 7 which is such light weight ease when using it compared to vista
and i have been a vista fan and never a vista basher!!
the screen is a 16.9 viewing experience and gives the impression of a larger
screen than it is and with 3 gb of memory with windows 7 it is a new experience while
using this laptop, with such ease and grace and a touch of class, another budget range laptop from acer
with the feel and specs of a solid midrange laptop.
Review 2 :
almost excellentThis is a very a good low price all-rounder - fast, very good screen and extras included such as a good qulity web cam. Also, an apparently well designed hardware set up along with the (so far) trouble free Windows 7 mean that slow operations and crashes almost never happen.
The first obvious problems are on the audio side: despite a good web cam, there's no michrophone. And the speakers are the worst I've ever heard on a computer....like the sound out of an ear-piece.
Both these faults are easily solved by connecting auxilliary speakers and mike, but that does, of course, reduce its utilty as a portable.
General point: When will manufacturers (of TVs, computers - any muti-media stuff) get it into their heads that audio quality is every bit as important as video quality?
