Product Description
HP PAVILION DV6-1299EA NOTEBOOK
Fantastic looks with powerfull specs.
HP has issued an excellent laptop. After upgrading to Windows 7 it works perfectly.
AMD generates more heat then Intel but it's not an issue really.

Review 2 : Gret laptop- get rid of the Vista ASAP though
Bought this laptop as I wanted a laptop with a better build quality than my old laptop...
Pros
-Excellent build quality (hp definately have an eye for detail!)
-Nice extras-mouse, case
-Looks great
-I like the free photo editing software, desktop editing software, etc
-Plays computer games really well and does not overheat even after many hours of games/ demanding software (this was a major problem with my previous laptop)
-Fast
-easy to use
-The remote I thought initially would be useless but I now use it all the time is great for listening to music, movies when you are busy doing something else
-Like the little details, volume control, mouse scroller
-Keyboard is a nice size, my typing has never been so quick. Also has a proper num pad (not a function button one) which is rare for a laptop, which I have found useful when using it for work.
Cons
-Mainly problems with vista 64 -lots of bugs, administration...
