Review 1 : A great laptop
This is a great-looking, stylish laptop. I particularly like the keyboard, which has great feel and is very easy to type on. The screen quality is excellent, though I suspect the glossy screen will be difficult to see in bright light. The built-in trackpad is pretty good too compared to others I have used. A minor niggle is that all of the ports are on the side of the machine - I prefer cables out of the way at the back - and there is no docking station option. My only real criticism is the Vaio Smart Network software that manages wireless network profiles, which is very poor indeed. It simply refused to connect automatically to a wireless network other than my own, which I would find very irritating if I travelled with it much. But overall I am very pleased with it. I did lots of research before I settled on the Vaio, and, having used it for a few weeks, I feel I made the right choice.
