Great Laptop Once You Have Re-installed It
I was very pleased with this laptop in terms of performance (I did also upgrade the ram to the full 8gb that it can accept) but, whatever I did, I could not get any printer to work on it properly. I was on the verge of selling it and cutting my losses when I decided to completely re-install it and only use any acer drivers that I absolutely needed to, to make the hardware functional.
Without all the **** that Acer installed on the laptop, it now works brilliantly and I am very pleased with it.
So, if you buy one of these, I recommend that the 1st thing you do is upgrade the ram to 8gb. The 2nd thing you do is re-install Windows 64bt so, that you remove everything in terms of software and drivers that Acer installed. Then, customise by installing your own software and hardware drivers that you need for your own devices.
If you do this, you will have an extremely powerful laptop for a very cheap price.

Review 2 : Flawless laptop
This is simply a brilliant laptop and runs flawlessly. It have had it for 6 months now and it HAS NEVER CRASHED. Best laptop I have ever owned. I use it for software development. Loads very quickly and uses RAM very effeciently. I very highly recommend this laptop to anyone. Brilliant all rounder. Just make sure you install a good virus scanner and pc tune up tool. I use Norton 360. Keeps the laptop like the day I bought it. So happy with this purchase and at an amaaazing price. The quad core power really shows...
