Bought this to replace a very old (8 years)and smaller model. Good move! Found this right up-to-date and easy to set up. Easy to install programmes. The large screen makes it feel like a desktop.Clear images.
Only small gripe is the power socket catches other accesories as it's on the right side. Again, as with most laptops I've looked at, the battery use is only a couple of hours.

Easy to set up, easy to use, clear as a bell. Extremely pleased. This laptop deals with all my requirements for work and home.
If I had to be negative, battery life 2hrs and the USB ports are poorly situated - a memory stick or wireless connection gets in the way of the mouse
Review 2 : Desktop replacement
I purchased the Toshiba as a desktop for my original which had died, the Toshiba ticked many of the boxes for a replacement, huge screen, DVD rewriter and decent sized memory. It worked straight out of the box and required little or no setting up. The only gripe I have is it only has 1 usb port but this was easily rectified by buy a usb hub. This computer has been in use with me for six weeks now and is a joy to use. I would recommend an ergonomic tilt stand for the Toshiba as I was unaware of how hot it became when being used on a desk, I bought the Ergo- Lift through Amazon, excellent and cheap.
