I purchased this laptop about 8 months ago now, before this Sony, I had an old HP that lasted for 4 years with no problems. Granted, I bought this item after recently buying a newer HP model, after the mousepad repeatedly broke and due to it being ridiculously slow. However, I bought the VAIO to amend my mistake. Bad choice.
At this moment in time there are no redeeming factors for this computer. The mousepad repeatedly sticks, although I could use a USB mouse, I feel that it shouldn't be necessary. I am currently using a new hard-drive after the last one simply crashed without reason or warning, taking with it all save documents. The disk drive seems very poor quality, it is slightly askew and sometimes struggles to read disks.
After paying 500 pounds for this I'm infuriated. And I shall not be buying another Sony product for some time now. This said, I may just have a very poorly constructed model, and I also know this is actually one of the lower end products. However I...
