Have had it for a month or so. Looks great, feels great, it's quick, it's cool and it's perfect for my needs - essentially great screen and plenty of memory. It's a great piece of equipment, definitely worth the money.

I haven't had this computer for long but that's really indicative of how quickly it has made an impression on me. There are so many things to love with this laptop.
Firstly I'll just say that from a performance point of view it's a great laptop. I can play Age of Empires 3 in 1080p with full graphics and suffered no slowdown so far. Crysis can play at low with 1080p, and closer to high at the 768 ratio. Football Manager plays like a dream zipping though each process faster than I could have imagined.
So why did I buy this laptop? Well, one of the major points for me was it's gigantic screen - which, at 1920x1080 gives you the space to multitask. What a joy it is to play football manager with a large playing area, whilst watching Top Gear through iPlayer, and talking to friends through MSN (Windows Live Messenger) without seeing any drop in performance for any task at any point!

Review 2 : Quiet, cool. smooth- everything!
I had been saving up for a laptop for literally years, and I spent my hard-earned bucks on this Sony, which I am now typing this review on.
I'm particularly impressed by the glossy screen, and the height of the screen, meaning you can have 2 browser windows open side by side. The keyboard is also as good as the manufacturer says- very good quality, and easy to type. Good feel to them.
Other than that it's very swish, fast and quiet. It's got a really good webcam- it's very good quality compared to the external one I had been using. Good software on it too- fun webcam stuff, some Adobe stuff, and of course you can upgrade to Windows 7 for free when it comes out.
Oh yes, very good audio too. On my old laptop I needed external speakers to speak via video link on windows live. The volume here is perfect and loud. Great!
I have no regrests on spending a grand on this. I'd get a nice case to ensure you don't hurt this precious thing. And buy some...
