I purchase this 1 year and nine months ago,Worked great for 21 months no problem loked it , then one morning the mother board fails,no warning lings errors etc. As it is out of warrenty and out of the 1 year gaurentee. I called Sony support, Told me to take it to a sony repair shop and I did . The Mother board had failed. They wanted 699.00 to repalce it. After spend 1000 on this I was very upset. Sony Vaio system should last more than 21 months. Then I did research on this computer and the motherboards fail quite a lot. So I wont be buying a laptop from Sony when I purchase my new one . i figured that Sony top of the Market. Think again folks before spending this amount of money.

The Sony online help is second to none.
The wireless connectivity setup maybe could be improved, but there again that could be down to me, I need things to be ultra-simple and to work.
Hence my preference for Apple!
But as I need a Windows machine too, it's the best I've found so far.
