Review 1 : Decent laptop and worth a consideration
I choose this laptop because it came with Windows 7, rather than the horrible windows 8 operating system. Unlike my old HP G6 AMD laptop this Samsung is rather quiet and for regular use (Like web browsing etc) the fans rarely get that loud and even when they do it's not to annoying. After my HP experience a quieter laptop has taken priority.

I really like the screen on this laptop because it's less reflective and this is far nicer than those glossy screens. As an example if I'm watching a film and a dark scene comes up I find seeings background reflections rather annoying.

Battery life is fairly decent and with lighter use it's possible to get over 4 hours or even 5. In past experience many of the laptops I've owned have hardly gone past an hour and a half for battery life. If you watch videos or do anything else a little more demanding then you probably wont get the best battery life possible, but then that stands to reason.
