Fantastic laptop! I've only had desktops up till this and was amazed at how light it is. Some reviews mention the glossy finish being a little frustrating, I wouldn't say that but I use a normal mouse half the time anyway. Keyboard is great, well spaced out. Graphics are good as is sound and it seems great value for money.

Review 2 : Top laptop!
This is the second Samsung R580 that I've owned. The first one was, alas, stolen. This model with a slightly improved spec (faster processor, more memory, bigger hard drive and 64bit OS) has made a good laptop even better. It is hard to think how I might reasonably expect it to be improved. The only two things that I have come up with are the battery life and the delete key. I would prefer the latter to be a little larger. I use my laptop mostly at home but when I do go out I would have liked the battery to last a little longer. Otherwise (other than the usual crapware) I can give this machine my unreserved recommendation.
