Excellent Value For Money
Considering the 17.3" screen, this laptop is a respectable weight, and with a decent carrying case would not be cumbersome.
The large screen also allows for a generous keyboard with separate number pad, but while there are arrow keys in the more traditional position, the 'block of six' (Home, End, Page Up, Page Down, Insert and Delete) are still not in a traditional position for someone used to a desktop. They keys are also of the 'calculator' type - distinct, squarish buttons rather than more traditional, sloping-edge keys that all touch each other. I was worried that this would make them a little harder to speed type, since they tend to 'click' rather than 'bounce', but in fairness they seem to be very usable so far.
The position of the mousepad and buttons - central to the *main* keyboard rather than central to the entire laptop width - is a little bit of a problem. When trying to operate the mouse buttons while looking at the screen, instinct makes you aim...

Review 2 : Hate is not the correct word to use
Windows 8 is very apt orientated and if you need a computer or laptop to actually work on or you have programs you use regularly, I would suggest you go onto You Tube before you order it and look at the tutorials, the Laptop is beautiful to look at and the keyboard is very convenient, it is a shame the inside did not live up to the styling of the outside. The laptop I purchased refused to communicate with my existing programs or my back up systems, which are also Samsung. I was not pleased with the purchase.
