Samsung RF510 laptop
I carefully researched this laptop. Looked at lots of alternatives. Which? rated it reasonably highly. My techo son even recommended it. It provides everything that it promised. Once some of the Samsung software clutter is removed it has performed very well. There has been small occasional problems with losing WiFi connection after coming out of sleep mode and the display driver stopping for a couple of seconds but nothing that causes undue hassle. I view a lot of images and its graphics are excellent. Sound is average and rock and classical music sounds fine. All in all a good buy.

The Cost of this was lower when compared with other areas, We other locations investigated, rather than a lot more than equivalent merchandise.

Review 1 : As good as it gets
I was looking a replacement laptop for my 5 year old Toshiba for a few months now. I had eventually decided for the RF 510 with i5 460M processor, Amazon at that stage started advertising this newer version with 480M processor and a possible Blu-ray multi drive. Unfortunately it was not available so I had to wait for a few weeks and now that the Laptop has arrived I have to say the wait was well worth it.
I was not happy looking at the photographs of the Laptop showing a very prominent swivel pattern on the lid, but to my delight the pattern is not 1/10th as prominent as is shown in the photograph. It is very discrete and looks awesome. Many reviews elsewhere has mentioned it to be heavy and as a possible desktop replacement, again that is not true. It weighs possibly a little less than my old 15.6 inch Toshiba, though lighter laptops are available in the market.
The Blu-ray drive is a bonus, as I use the laptop mostly for browsing, official documentation and...
