Good value
Having always purchased laptops & PCs from another manufacturer, I thought I would try Samsung's 350V5C as I am more than delighted with its other product ~ the Samsung Galaxy S111 Mobile. It starts up very quickly and is very speedy in its performance. It is loaded with Windows 8 which is more complicated to use than Windows 7 but I have purchased a "Dummy" booklet which is proving helpful in getting to grips with the system. First impressions of the laptop are very good and I hope to enjoy it even more once Windows * is mastered.

Review 1 : great laptop for the price
This is an excellent laptop for the price. It feels and looks a lot more expensive than it actually is. The housing is plastic, however it doesn't feel cheap. On the outside, the lid looks like it's made from aluminium, however that's plastic (so don't expect aluminium). The lid isn't a finger print magnet, however if you look at it under the light at the correct angle, you will be able to see some finger prints.
The screen is really bright and the colours are great (much better than my 4 year old laptop). It's also non-reflective therefore you should be able to use it when sitting by the window/outside. There's not much sun this time of year so I wasn't able to test this out. The screen is not touchscreen despite Microsoft really pushing Windows 8 with touchscreens but you need to pay at least two times more for a touch screen. Hopefully these will become standard with the next Windows release.
The keyboard is really well laid out. I got used to it within...
