A real ronson...
A long-time admirer of HP, this product is well below what I would have expected. The specs are fine, but it has a major design flaw in the cooling system. It is a notably 'hot-running' machine in any case (not recommended for - literally - putting on your lap). The heat exchange unit clogs-up so that within a year of steady use you'll find that the machine keeps cutting out after 20 minutes or so. The only solution is to strip the computer down and tease out the dust from between the fan and the heat exchanger. This takes a nervous amateur (I cite myself) about 6 hours to accomplish and it is easy to damage elements on the way in and out... I cite myself, again! Groan...

Great computer apart from the design flaw which causes it to overheat. It conked out 1 week before 1 year warranty was up due to the overheating problem. Laptops should last longer than this. Also, battery life seems to be well less than an hour - tried to watch a 29 minute show last night and battery didn't last for this. This is pretty different from what was promised. Do your research before getting a HP - many have been shipped with design flaws that cause this overheating.
