Good Spec, good Looking - VERY POOR QUALITY
Good spec Laptop but BEWARE. All G6 models use the same mouse/trackpad buttons/case etc.. My left mouse button felt cheap from day one. 1 week after purchase it sunk below facia of laptop. after two weeks LIGHT use, button made a crack like sound and squeaks and cracks when pressed. I would have originaly thought "Oh I have a faulty one off laptop." But NO My girlfriends brother got a different model of the G6 to mine and his left mouse button failed after a week! More bad news is some reviews online confirm others are suffering the same fate. If you are considering buying this laptop try out the left mouse button in the shop. IT WILL FAIL ON YOU!! MASSIVE HP RECALL AHOY!!!! Wish I had waited and got another Laptop. Cheap poor component. Ps - I love everything else about this laptop. I checked online and instore locally and found out all G6's are the same. I dont normally review anything but wanted people to know about this design flaw. I just dont have ANY faith on the mouse...

Review 2 : HP Pavillion g6-1251sa laptop
I am very pleased with this laptop. Rather stylish and not at all cheap looking, the smooth silvery-grey body seems to be quite fingermark-proof. It was very easy to set up and the touch pad is very responsive. It has great screen resolution, excellent colour and sound - I would say a cut above the normal quality for a laptop at this price; I have watched dvds, played a couple of downloaded games and listened to spoken word cds and found the sound quality terrific for all 3. The very sensible absence of the usual number pads/arrow keys on the right means you get a full size keyboard which is pleasing. The dvd/cd tray feels solid and the maximum battery life so far for ordinary surfing and emailing is 4 and 1/2 hours. I haven't used the webcam yet so can't comment on that. It came with 60 days free Norton security and a number of free HP games amongst other software.
My only complaint is that whatever it is that is under the left/right 'mouse' buttons which makes them almost...
